Pretty Cool Home Page

Surfing the net (is it lame to say that now?), I came across a site for a design studio called Sagmeister. What struck me was their home page. It's a live webcam shot of their studio. Crazy idea! So whatever time you visit their site, you can see the inside of their studio live (and the cars driving past outside). Check it out here.

Here's a shot as of 12:08 am est.

Color Scheme Envy

I came across a website for the company Glam Media , and immediately fell in love with the colors on their About section. The bold, sophisticated black paired with pops of saturated colors?!?! This would be great for a dining room or a bedroom in my opinion. Graphic Design wise, it's perfect for this kind of company, and I LOVE the sans serif fonts. Here are a few shots that drew me in-

The Long Awaited Website

It has been a while, but I have still been at it! Along with working on projects, my husband and I have been in the process of buying our first home! I'm so excited because I will have my own office that I can decorate like I want! I will keep you all updated on the progress and the before and afters when the time comes.

As the title states, there is a long awaited website that is now complete! It is for Milestone Events, an event planning company. You can see some of the work that I have done for them here and here.

Here is a sneak peek of the site:

If you have a special event approaching and are looking for a reliable, creative event planner, contact Milestone Events! I definitely recommend their services; this is the company that we used for our wedding coordination and from the images from our wedding that I posted you can see what a great job they did.

Adieu!

I'm still here!

Hopefully you all are doing well and enjoyed the long holiday weekend!

I have been busy working on a few projects. Here's the list:

• Started the website for Milestone Events
• Began teaching myself some new web techniques that I plan to use on the up-update of my website {...don't ask, just know that I'm going to redesign my website again! The saga continues...}. CSS is killer when you're first starting out.
• Website update for Soy Secrets as well as making more product labels and designing the business cards.
• Trying to get a hang of this whole "wife" thing. It's not design related, but it still takes up time!

So forgive me for not posting lately, but I will be back again later this week with some exciting posts!

Until then...

Soy Secrets (but this isn't a secret!)

So as I said in my previous post, I was busy (in a good way). Recently, I finished designing the product labels and long awaited Soy Secrets website! Soy Secrets is a company that specializes in creating soy based body products and candles. There are great products available to purchase, and for your reading pleasure there is information regarding the benefits of using soy body products and candles over the traditional product ingredients (great for the skin, harmless to the environment, etc.). Check out the site, and if you like what you see go ahead and place an order :)

Website Re-Launch

So I finally finished! Yes, the long awaited, new and improved, updated The Law Of Design website is now up and running! With all of the things going on in my life right now (good things indeed), to complete this goal gave me such a rush! I think I'm an accomplishment junkie. At any rate, check out the new site.
