Shifting

The time has come where I have decided to shift focus in my business.  I decided to re-brand LrnM Design to something more suitable and memorable.  The new name of my business is Color Hug (www.ColorHug.com).  I will still be providing paper goods, but I now have a larger range of products; greeting cards, art prints, calling cards and introducing wedding stationery.

Because of this change, I will no longer be authoring this blog.  Instead, I will solely be blogging at MyersMaison.blogspot.com.  If you are a follower here, head on over to Myers Maison to follow along there and see what we're up to in the Myers' household.

If you are a long time follower of LrnM Design you may know that I have changed names before.  With time comes change, and in life we outgrow certain aspects of our lives.  I found it suitable to make this change because I am in a different place in my life and I feel that this new name will be around for the long haul.  Thanks for being a supporter of this blog and of LrnM Design!  This is not a goodbye, this is a "change your bookmarks, follow the Myers Maison blog, and check out the new online shop" :)

Morning shots

I know I've been gone for a while.  Forgive me!  Here are a couple of shots from my neighborhood on a Sunday morning to ease your pain.

The prime times to shoot with natural light are in the morning and early evening, and since I happened to be coming home that morning rather early, I caught these shots.

30 Day Photography Challenge

Happy New Year, guys!  I hope you all had a great Holiday season.  Mine was great...full of relaxation and family time.

To start the year off, I am going to be posting a series of pictures for a 30 day photography challenge.  I came across this idea on pinterest and decided to do this for the new year.  There is a list of 30 pictures to take, one for each day.  Hopefully this will flex my creative muscle a little more and bring on some great ideas! Some of the posts may have just an image, and some may have more details.  Depends on my mood for the day.  Instead of posting 30 times, I might be combining days into one post.  This is all to say check back often or follow me (on the right of this screen) so that you know when I post something new!

This is the color scheme for one of our Christmas trees.  Yes, we have two this year, our main one in the living room and this little cutie in the front window (visible to the neighborhood at night).  It would be hard to part ways with this tree since it's the first tree that Simon and I had together.

It's a beautiful earring from a pair that my mom had from the 70's.  I'm going to start rockin' these earrings once I give them a good once over of polishing.

Fall Boot Time

It's time for some new brown boots.  I mean, it has been about 10 years since I bought a pair of brown.  The last pair that I had...well, I wore them into the ground.  I'm 5' 3.5" (yes, I count my half), so when I put on knee-high or thigh-high boots it kinda shrinks me.  I want a nice ankle to mid-calf height boot.  Here are a few that I enjoy.
